3     sticks  real butter -- salted or unsalted
2     Tbsp  Lemon Extract
5     eggs
6     oz.  7-Up
3     cups  all-purpose flour
    
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add lemon extract. Add eggs one 
at a time. Alternate adding 1 cup flour with 3 oz. 7 up, beginning and ending
with flour. Preheat oven to 350 º. Grease and flour tube pan. Pour batter into prepared pan;
bake for 1 hour and 10-20 minutes until the top of the cake looks done.

DO NOT UNDERCOOK - 1 hr. 15 minutes.

You might even want to set the temp just a little less than 350 and bake a little
longer.
