                          Easy Coconut Cream Pie

  1         prebaked piecrust
  2         packages  instant coconut pudding
  1 1/2   cups  milk
  1         8 ounce container  whipped topping -- divided

Prepare piecrust and cool completely. Whisk pudding and milk together. 
Fold in 1/2 of whipped topping and 1/2 cup of coconut. Pour into piecrust.

Cover and chill 30 minutes. Spread remaining whipped topping over filling. 
Toast remaining cocunut on baking sheet beneath oven broiler. Watch 
closely to prevent burning. Sprinkle on top of pie - 8 servings.
